This level corresponds to the discovery of the language. The basics of the English language will be covered in your beginner's learning. They will enable you to express yourself in simple everyday life situations, for example, during a trip abroad.
The vocabulary you will learn corresponds to "everyday" vocabulary. By the end of your training, you will be able to tell the time, ask for directions, and introduce yourself. You will acquire basic phrases such as "how are you today?" to be able to start a conversation with simple sentences.
Conjugation will begin with fundamental verbs such as "to have," "to go," and "to be." You will learn different tenses like the present indicative, present continuous, simple future, and present perfect. Your teacher will explain the differences between English and French tenses and in which situations to use each tense.
To pass level A1, you must also master various essential grammar concepts: modal auxiliaries, personal pronouns, logical connectors, time adverbs, the difference between "there is" and "there are," or between "how many?" and "how much?", demonstrative and possessive adjectives.
Taking online English classes with a teacher will also improve your pronunciation. During these classes, it's not just about writing but also about speaking to improve your oral expression. Our teachers from around the world will help you distinguish the differences between each accent.
Once you have mastered everything, you will move on to the intermediate level.
