Level B2 is the fourth level of English established by the Common European Framework of Reference for English proficiency. This level corresponds to the Cambridge FIRST Certification and scores of 5-6 on the IELTS exam and 87-109 on the TOEFL exam.
Those who have mastered a B2-level of English can communicate independently in most professional and personal contexts. However, they have not yet developed as extensive a language repertoire.
There are six levels of English recognized by the Common Reference Framework for English: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.
The 16 learning units available on the EF English Live platform cover all levels of language proficiency. For more information about each level, click here.
